Car Insurance Mazda (Car Insurance). Aviation enthusiasts, help me out?Aviation enthusiasts, help me out? A couple years ago fairly often I would see a plane go by that was shaped like the letter Y,it had a propeller in between the wings facing the opposite direction that most prop planes have. It was painted black. I haven't seen one again in a very long time. I hope someone here can tell me what it might of been,I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance guys. There are not too many airplanes that fit your description. One that comes to mind would be a Varieze/LongEZ but since it's a composite aircraft it's very unlikely to have been painted black. There's also the Velocity and the Cozy, but once again the black color doesn't fit. There are a few others, but the ones I mentioned seem to me the most likely. If it was a single propeller (single engine) it wasn't a Beech Starship - that much is certain. Beechcraft Starship its not black idk if this is it Cessna Skymaster http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cessna_Skymaster Starship, Piaggio, or some homebuilt. What you saw was a "pusher" plane. "Tractors" have the propeller in front and pull the plane along. Pushers have the prop in the back and push the plane along. Pushers are more efficient than tractors, but are are a lot harder to make practical in the real world. As for your pusher being black, dark colors are undesirable for aircraft since they absorb more solar radiation and make the plane unbearably hot in direct sunshine. Military applications, however, tend to prefer dark colors, since this helps make planes harder to visually detect. My guess is that you saw a popular homebuilt design: the Varieze, or one of the many similar planes this design helped spawn, like the Velocity, Cozy, Starship, Avanti, and more. Mazda . How to Change a Ford LEDLED lights, also called light emitting diodes, can enhance the interior of a Ford. LED lights are brighter than the lights preinstalled in the Ford. You can install the LED lights yourself to save money. It does take a few steps and tools to complete the task, but once you are done you will have the satisfaction of doing it yourself. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need T-15 Torx screwdriver Phillips screwdriver Flat-head screwdriver Step by Step : 1 Allow the car to completely cool down for at least 20 to 30 minutes if you have recently driven it. 2 Remove the positive and negative leads from the battery cable on the car's battery. The reason you remove the leads before you start anything is to prevent damage to the electrical components in the car. It also prevents the airbags to discharge if you do something wrong. 3 Remove the headlight knob. Press the lock tab located on the inside edge of the known. Press it inward using a flat-head screwdriver and pull it off of the post. 4 Remove the bezel cover by removing the screws with the Phillips screwdriver. These three screws are located on the top of the bezel. Once the screws our out, remove the cover and set it aside in a safe place so it will not get damaged during this process. 5 Unscrew the four Torx screws located around the gauge cluster using a Torx screwdriver. Tilt the bottom of the gauge upward and pull out upward. 6 Remove the black wire connector attached to the back of the gauge cluster. Disconnect the second white plug from the back of the panel. Remove the gauge cluster from the dash and set it aside face down. 7 Turn the five bulb holders approximately a quarter turn counterclockwise from the gauge cluster to remove them. Remove the old bulbs, and insert the new LED bulbs. They should go straight in with no problems, as if you were screwing in a light bulb. Reinsert the bulb holders into the gauge cluster, and put the gauge back into the dash. 8 Press the black and white plugs back into place located on the reverse side of the gauge cluster. Put the cluster back into the dash, and screw in the four Torx screws back in that you removed previously. 9 Install the headlight knob and gauge face cover in reverse order that you moved previously. Step by Step : 10 Reconnect the negative and positive leads to the battery on the post. Turn the headlights on your car on and test the new LED installation.
Mazda . How to Install a Freeze Plug in a Chevrolet 283 CID EngineThe 283 CID engine, an old V-8 engine, has two freeze plugs on each side of the engine, and two in the back, between the transmission and the engine. Should the water or coolant in the engine freeze, it expands. To keep the block from cracking, the manufacturer installed freeze plugs. When frozen water expands, the freeze plugs pop out of the engine, hopefully keeping the block from cracking under the pressure. Difficulty:Moderate Instructions Things You'll Need Socket the same size as the freeze plug Hammer Step by Step : 1 Line the freeze plug up in its hole, ensuring that it is perfectly straight. Tap the edges of the freeze plug evenly to get it started. If it is not straight, pull it back out, and retry. It must go into the block evenly, or it will leak. 2 Fit the socket into the center of the freeze plug. The walls of the socket should be as close as possible to the walls of the freeze plug, but not so tight that it doesn't come out easily. 3 Tap the socket until the lip of the freeze plug is 1/8 inch below the surface of the block. Tap it easily, as if you put it in too far, it will fall into the block or leak. If it is not far enough in, it will leak. Using the socket helps keep a more even installation. * Does the vehicle pull to one side when you brake? On vehicles with front disc brakes, a stuck caliper can cause this problem. On older vehicles with front drum brakes, a wheel cylinder may be either leaking or stuck. I explain how to check disc and drum brakes in the section called "Getting at Your Brakes" later in this chapter. Does your brake pedal pulsate up and down when you stop? Does your steering wheel shake when you brake? If so, and you have disc brakes, your front brake rotors need to be machined or replaced. A pulsating brake pedal is usually caused by excessive lateral run-out (mechanic-speak for wobbling from side to side), which can happen because your brakes are overheating from overuse. Make sure that your rear brakes are working. If not, they could be causing your front brakes to work too hard and overheat. 814

Squealing can occur when the brake linings are worn and need replacement, the drum or rotor needs to be machined, the front disc brake pads are loose or missing their anti-rattle clips, the hardware that attaches the brake calipers is worn, or inferior brake linings are in use. Totally eliminating a squeal can be difficult. When you open your brakes to check them, make sure that your rotors or drums aren't badly scored or worn and that plenty of lining material is left. Also, .Chapter 18: Being a Buddy to Your Brakes and Bearings the brake pads on disc type brakes should fit properly into the caliper. xy k Some disc brake pads require special shims to eliminate squeal. If "^ you visit your local parts store, you'll probably see a product called Disc Brake Quiet. This sticky spray hardens to a rubber-like material. If you use it, make sure to spray it on the back of the brake pads the metal part that rests against the caliper. Never Mazda . Is proad a word?
I don't believe so. Subaru XT6. * spray Disc Brake Quiet on the brake rotor or on the lining material that contacts the brake rotor. Do your brakes make a grinding noise that you can feel hi the pedal? If so, stop driving immediately and have your vehicle towed home or to a repair shop. Further driving could damage the brake rotors or drums. Grinding brakes are caused by excessively worn brake linings. When the lining wears off, the metal part of the brake pad or brake shoe contacts the brake rotor or drum and can quickly ruin the rotors or drums the most expensive parts of the brake system.
